All Canadian Milking Yearling 2005!! |
||||||||||||||
DAKOTA is a young cow with a bright future ahead of her. She
has already won the strong Milking Yearling class at both the Quebec
International Show and Royal Winter Fair in 2005 and was named
All-Canadian. She is a tall well
balanced cow with tremendous depth and openness in the rib. She has
a long clean dairy head and neck that enhances the style that this young
cow exhibits. She has a welded on fore udder and great bone to her leg.
When you see the sire stack behind Dakota it is not hard to figure out
why she is the way she is. Her VG86 “Lee” dam made a three
year old record of 12650 (27,888lbs) 522 4.1% (1151 lbs) 409 3.2% (902
lbs). The second dam is an EX-4E “Starbuck” that produced
over 225,000 lbs in eight lactations with 4.3% fat. The third dam is
an EX (2*) “Ned” with seven lactations averaging 4.6% fat
and had 10 daughters scoring 100% GP & better. With five generations
averaging over 4.1 % fat and with the style of “Lee” and
the udders from “Ned” and a EX-4E “Starbuck”
to tie everything together in this special young “Dundee”
– Dakota is a cow for the modern times. |
